I have already replaced my throttle body within 6 months of owning my 2005 S-Type - also had an electrical issue which shorted out the air conditioning module and replaced that - $6,000 later (my $4,000 extended warranty didn't cover), I now have the Amber engine malfunction light on. Since I really love my car - (other than hitting the pub), I wanted to get some feedback on this condition - it has started rough intermittently - otherwise has been running well. Thoughts ?

I have recently had occasion to carefully study Extended Warranties, and most of them cover ONLY engine and transmission; "anything touched by 'oil'." I'm sorry you got bitten by one.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
