I was wondering if it was possible to find a Jaguar emblem to my steering wheel as shown. I believe they were only on the VDP's; correct? Are these for sale anywhere?

 

My associate bought a grille badge & filed the pins off the back & adhered it to his XJ8 wheel. Looked cohesive to me , one similar to what's linked below.

I never realized they were VDP only, something more to appreciate.

Guess King Charles's suggestion might work, I can take some measurements if you need.

 

I have always been a little leery of things mounted to a surface that is supposed to tear open and deploy an airbag. I suppose the emblem will tear loose and go perpendicular to the column axis as the airbag seam tears.

The passenger airbag deployment ALWAYS breaks the windscreen with the fascia veneer panel but it is tethered and directed upward.

I just worry about having a 'growler' indented in my face. I could think of worse things?????? Growler indentions are OK I guess???

Charles, did your associate spray it a certain color? Out of the ones I've seen they all seem to be a bright chrome or gold color.

 

No his was like the one I linked from E-Bay the OEM grill badge part HND5520AA they're matte w/ shading & texture.
