Noticed that my temp gauge was all the way up so I look under the hood and this is what I find. Should I just replace thermostat or is this coolant leaking from somewhere? looks like it sprayed a bit where the filler cap is and must've overflowed cause it's on the ground too

 

That seems more than an overflow and I would suspect some hose burst. Would fill and run and monitor or pressure test and look for leak. The only overflow is to the overflow tank in front left wing.

 

I might have to pressure test then.. after letting it cool down I checked it out while idling at normal temp and there wasn't and visible leaking. Maybe when it's under pressure? This is the overflow right behind the pic I took right? Looks like it may have sprayed from here as I see a splash on the supercharger cover

 

No, that's the pressure tank. There are a lot of places for a leak to occur, so a pressure test is the best answer.

 

Is it 15 psi that should hold?

 

Yes. I noticed my Harbor Freight tester doesn't really hold pressure and leaked back through the pump. I have, however, used it to find leaks on a couple of cars. The only instance in which it would not be definitive would be a head gasket leak or pressure cap leak. If you don't find a hose or fitting leak it could be the cap.

 

I rented one from advanced auto for 240.00 that they refund on return. It had the correct fitting but the pump leaked a bit. I did find and fix two leaks at 15psi. One on a large coolant hose and the bigger leak on the small hose under the throttle cable. Neither leak looked very big so I'm surprised at the amount of coolant that was on the ground. I added a bit of coolant took her for a high speed run and the temp gauge wouldn't go above halfway. I bought a thermostat on standby but It seems to be fixed for now, unless it's just when the thermostat decides to be stuck again, not sure

 

Do you have a RealGuage temp gauge or just the factory temp sensor?

If you engine isn't toast, I would get a RealGauge, the factory one will go from somewhere in the middle to "oops you've already overheated and AAA is on their way." The RealGauge also has a little speaker in it that will beep if it starts to get too hot. They are pretty inexpensive and only take a couple of minutes to install.
