You will need to modify the existing harness and it's a little tricky working out which wires go where but to start you off....

Hey, im having a problem with my factory radio. Whenever I drive and sometimes I might hit a bump and the radio sound will go real low or sometimes go completely out and I have to tap the side of the radio and it will come back on but will be low and then get loud. Whenever I turn the volume past 29 the sound get lower. I need help on what the problem could be please help.
I'm a little confused about the red/green on this diagram and the double red/green and single red/green wires i have coming out.
The diagram shows red/green being shared between the left front and rear speakers w/ direct connection. I'm guess this explains the double red/green wires that are combined into one. But i also have a single red/green. What is this? The diagram shows a red/green between the front and rear right speakers, but not directly to the deck.
If the schematic you posted is from the Haynes manual, I would recommend that you download the Jaguar Electrical Guide for your 1991 XJ6, which will probably be more accurate. You can download the manual for free at the link below, courtesy of our forum member Gus:
I'm not sure if I understand your question, but as I read the schematic you posted, the Left Front and Left Rear speakers have separate positive (+) wires, but their negative (-) wires are both Red/Green, and both splice to a single Red/Green wire to complete the circuit to the head unit.
The right side is similar, but the two separate Red/Green wires from the speakers splice to a single Pink/ Light Green wire to complete the circuit to the head unit.
If I didn't understand your question, please let me know.
So that spliced Red/Green is (+), i had it written down as (-) from what i could trace to my speaker. I should look again.
I'm looking at the stock connector, this is what it looks like and what i can gather from the diagrams, please correct me where i got it wrong:
Connector Lead Row 1
- Red/Purple: Left Bass (+ or -?)
- Red/Lt Green: Left Bass (+ or -?)
- Lt Green/Black: Antenna Logic
-----------------
- Red/Green (spliced): Left Front & Rear (-)
- Red/Brown: Left Rear (+) diagram shows red/brown for both Right Front & Left Rear?
- Red/White: Left Front (+)
Connector Lead Row 2
- Pink/Orange: Right Bass (+ or -?)
- Pink/Red: Right Bass (+ or -?)
- Red/Green: ???
-----------------
- Brown/White: Hot
- Lt Green/Orange: Radio Relay
-----------------
- Pink/Lt Green (spliced): Right Front & Rear (-)
- Pink/Yellow: Right Rear (+)
- Pink/White: ???
