Default Under radiator cradle rubbers

I know I've lost at least the one on the driver side but suspect both may be gone - will check later

Can't seem to find part number for these so what has anyone else used?

These are the rectangular pads on the cradle facing towards the road - must replace the other round bushings as well as although replaced a couple of years ago the last time I looked didn't look too healthy.

Considering ice hockey pucks as a last gasp solution

thanks

c

Those are the round mounts - there's meant to be 'pads' underneath the cradle and those are the ones I can't find

But thanks nevertheless

I don't recall those, have to look at the diagram. I'm rather certain I replaced all the rubber.

I'm lost as a ball in high grass, too. Maybe a picture?

That's what I recall. I see I bought four of them, and I don't think there are four on top.

The A/C condenser also eats bushings over time, while you are at it maybe wise to check that too.

Two on top and two on the bottom, had to use dish soap to lube the top ones because they squeeze into the bracket.

They are cheap enough to do like suggested and swap the a/c ones at the same time, like I did not do and now need to do the job twice. At least it is a somewhat easy one.

Hi Nibbster,

I think you must be describing the radiator mounting "Pad", which is Part 6 in the diagram below, from the section of the catalog titled Body Metal Panels and Sealing/Fixed Body Panels/Radiator Mounting Panel:

The part number is CCC3853 but jaguarclassicparts.com lists them as NLA.

I think most owners haven't bothered to attempt to replace those, either because we haven't noticed them or they have deteriorated and disappeared. The parts RJ237 and most of us have replaced, the "cooling module mounting bushes," part number MNA4241AB, look like this (alongside the remains of an original one):

And here they are installed:

As far as those pads go, if you think they are necessary I assume any suitable foam rubber could be cut to fit. Maybe something from the weatherstrip and insulation department of your local home improvement store?

Cheers,

Don
