Default F type rims on a str?

Has anyone tried f type alloys on the s type r? I know the rear offset is out by a bit..but I want to go 19"s and the aftermarket selection ain't great for 5 x 108 staggered atm imo....

Couple of eBay number suggestions...

Sounds like a way to buy trouble.

Will they be strong enough? The STR is much heavier.

BTW potential insurance nightmare in the UK... Tougher laws still in Germany...

There isn't much weight difference between an f type v8 s and a str so I doubt that this would be an issue.

I just wanted to find out if anyone had tried fitting them to an s type chassis??

It is what it is. People are not doing it.

Are you sure you want 19"?

I find the 18" and 20" tires/wheels to be cheaper and easier to get. Plus a wider selection of models.

Seems like the 19" diameter are not as popular.

+1^
personally id do the 20'' due to the availability of tires .
18'' are ok . but 19'' is hard work here too .
so to prove two points on the subject here is a link showing bad cattitude's STR with xfr wheels attached .

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...38/#post758086

then after reading this I'm lead to believe the f type wheels do in fact fit the XF so in turn should fit the s type.

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ls-xfr-146861/

also this shows the f type front wheels to be correct fitment to the STR but no info on the rears

ok more searching came up with this for the f type rears .
no way will the rears fit the s type without a spacer .

you will have better luck with xf wheels i think .
