Painted the vaccum tank and will use in house stencil on it. Lots of fitting but finally got inner rear bulkhead welded in now a lot of finishing to do.

Hmmm, smells good almost done!!

A few rust depressions I couldn't get out, but good integrity and ready to rebuild the rack

Its in to stay now

Another monocoque metalworks piece (upper quarter cP), needed to add a little touch to custom fit but as always a good panel

end cap added to piece

Mice profile/fit

Getting there

NOS wing STILL needed some time on the english wheel to fit

Edge curved into much, so wheeled it to bring out and will use planishing hammer and slap hammer to smooth more

Contemporary replacement panels have us spoiled. Have had to use the English wheel on several areas of the wing to accentuate curves in some areas and decrease in others. I feel that each of these cars on the assembly line went through similar handling.

It is just amazing that a person can do all that. Really.

It is equally amazing that Jaguar built a car that complex 50+ years ago.

Keep it up! Every task completed is a step closer to goal!

Thanks, definitely takes longer as a one man shop, and a lot of the panels need massaged to get them to work so can only do 1 side at a time to preserve symmetry and compare. The FHC I am doing I had to build the jig before anything and that took a while. Finally got the doors in and can start the final fitment before welding (always nerve wracking to afix permanently!! Hope to get out in shop more this fall
