Not even close.

The audio from a video like this doesn't capture the sound correctly, that is why I didn't make one.

It is more of a rumble and V8 roar, not poppy and tinny the way yours sounds.

Also, with no load on the engine in your vid, it sounds even worse.

Believe me, this mod sounds great.

Yes.

And yeah, cell phone mic doesn't do well to capture low end, and it "bottoms out" the mic, esp when when the phone's on the ground, which makes it sound a lot more poppy. The hollow sounding noise is also not part of the way it sounds in real life. The money on a decent mic could be better spent towards actually doing an exhaust but it gives a vague idea of the noise level vs stock.

When I made the video the resonator was supported by bricks and the rear subframe was out, so load is a bit tricky as well...

I read through the photo album for the cutouts and saw they were placed between the first resonator/muffler and the cats, so my video was a bit more off-topic than I realized, my bad.

Nope.....

They are installed right after the exhaust headers, no mufflers/resonators ahead of them. Everything that can muffle the sound is after them.

That's what I meant, I just worded it a bit oddly. Between the cats and first muffler is upstream of all mufflers, like you said.

Never checked this car, but in my last vehicle wot had a switch under the gas pedal, identical to the brake light switch but positioned differently. If the X308 uses that system its not complicated at all.

Who wants it at WOT only? Who wants them to open all the way, every time you floor it?

No one who has ever lived with that system.

The Ferrari guys hate not having control over the cut outs because they are vacuum operated and only open at 3-4,000 RPM.

Also, it sounds great at idle, partial and trailing throttle too.

Why is having full control and available range of sound concept so hard to grasp?

Vector,
I read before you use a switch to operate the cutouts, right?
Where did you install it?
I want it out of sight, and preferable not damaging or cutting mybinterior up.
Was thinking the center cubby, but it is not the easiest place to reach if you drive.
Was wondering if you had a better idea.

I put it in the console where the ashtray would normally be, I removed the ashtray, of course.

It is a good location: Easy and inconspicuous to reach, close the cover and it is out of sight.

I put my antenna cut off switch in the same location.
