Those look like the Montreal wheels (BBS for Jaguar).

Default Redeye - Is that body paint HGG

Redeye - is that HGG Metallic emerald?

This colour was One of the major reasons I chose the X100 over a red 1995 XJS

Its a seperate ally ring trim. Very expensive around £110 UK each around 4 years ago. Most people leave theirs off and no one can tell any different.

These, now £120 uk each. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XK...-/192151045124

Frankc,

OK! Your "Ally" means Aluminum in Texan....although I thought they were made of Stainless Steel...I hit a curb while parallel parking not long ago and got my Files out and filed down the buggered-up part, then Sanded it and polished it back to normal....Sorry, sometimes I'm a little slow with the King's English.....

I just received my new Valve Stems for my BBS Wheels this week from DCR...He told me he was having someone make-up some Headlight Gaskets that will be available in a month or so!

Tamato, Tomato. 'Jag u are' but 'Jag u woor or Jag woar' in texas. and its Queens English. Her majesty is 93 years old and still going strong. Been around to her big house for a cuppa, nice lady.

The original rims were made of stainless steel but I think they are aluminium now. At that price they should be gold, but that would not last too long.

I will be in line for a new headlight gasket if they produce one at a reasonable price.

Nice chatting with you again.

frankc.,
Here in Houston, they say "Jagwar"....as it seems that I have been having one with this Car for the last year! But my Jaguar, after the episode of 2 weeks ago, may be back to original self.....As I told you my Jag Guy replaced something on the Ring around the top of the Gas Tank and all the stalling problems have ceased. Missy has filled the Gas Tank twice now without any problems......Then the Electrical Problem (2) weeks ago, when it went crazy loping and jumping and even the Radio, which was off, started Banging and making explosion sounds. It was kind'a scary at first.....Hauled it in to the shop again and found that the problem was the ground cable.....It looked good and still does...but something was wrong as upon replacement the "Jagwar" became the XKR that I remembered....Been running like a Champ ever since!

My Wheel Rings are original, so I think they are S/S.....You really have to be careful with them! But they sure are pretty! and clean-up well!

Glad your getting things sorted Billy. You certainly sound like you know what your doing.

So you going to pop over to Malvern for a cuppa?

Frankc…….…….As I told you, I received my order for (4) Valve Stems from Dave....My mind told me that I should order them as: #1. They are hard to find and #2. If one broke, you would be down for a while looking for one....Therefore, I ordered (4) for the future......Now that I have them I see that really the only thing that could break would be the Rubber "O" Ring on the end and the "Air Valve" which is screwed inside the Valve....both of which I could buy down at the Auto Parts Store for a couple Bucks.….When you are not familiar with a product and you buy it like I did...It makes one want to Kick his Butt! But , remember what Granddad always said: "You can break a Leg trying to Kick your Butt!" Anyway a Lesson Learned......for future use....
