Default 1998-99 Jaguar Daimler Superv8 Owners

Hello All

I'm interested to know if there are or were any Jaguar Daimler Owners of the year 1998-99.

I'm about to buy a Jag Daimler Super v8 and I want to know what things I can change on the Jag to keep it optimum.

I've heard that there is a hose near the engine that causes problems and should be replaced. I also have someone providing me a supercharger pulley that is supposedly shorter and can improve performance of the SC.

What other mechanical changes can I make to increase BHP?
What else do I need to look out for and change to maintain the Jag?

Thanks!

If you want real performance from the 4 litre SC engine, you need to get in touch with AVOS through the X 308 or XK8/R forums.

If I recall correctly, AVOS is running about 600 hp with his twin screw conversion.

Just checked AVOS postings, and he is now running 524hp at the rear wheels, which is 631hp at the flywheel and 750 nm or 550+ lb ft of torque.

That should get the old girl off and rocking !
