Here's another excuse to drive your Jaguar, and meet other Jag enthusiasts!

We have had a good response to our first three A Pride of Jaguars events at Fair Lakes. We hope to have another great turnout of Jaguar cars at our fourth A Pride of Jaguars (APOJ 4).

We've picked Sunday, September 28th as the date, and will hold it again at the East Market at Fair Lakes shopping center, from 8:00AM to 10:30AM. (This is the weekend AFTER the NCJOC Reston Concours event.)


The purpose of this special Jaguar event, which runs alongside the weekly Sunday Cars & Coffee in the Dick's Sporting Goods & Kohl's parking lot, is to bring together people who love Jaguar cars, all models.

Please RSVP to me, so I know approximately how many spaces to reserve. I am sure we will have a good time! We will once again have an optional brunch nearby afterwards, and I hope to have some surprises in store for attendees. We will choose a 'favorite Jaguar', picked by popular vote of attendees bringing Jaguar cars.

Bob, count me in. I will bring along a laptop with all the XE Reveal pics to have everyone look at. Who knows, maybe by then I will have my new Jag. Not holding my breathe, but stanger things may happen. I am really getting the itch, just not liking the car payments. LMAO. Something is to be said about not having a car payment.

 

I would really like to go, but its still a little early for me to know for sure. You could pencil me in as a yes for now. I will be sure to let you know when I know for sure. Thanks.

For those interested in the XE, I will be bringing some of the early info about the car with me to the show. So, if you are interested I will answer whatever questions that you may have. It has been interesting to hear what Jaguar's vision is and their thought process on why they are doing what they are doing.

 

Looks like I'm good to go. Count me in.

 

'A Pride of Jaguars, Fourth Edition' - Sunday, Sept. 28th, 2014
8:00AM - 10:30AM


Less than two weeks to our fourth-ever 'A Pride of Jaguars' event. We will have a popular-vote 'favorite Jaguar' contest, as well as a drawing for door prizes. To participate in either, bring your Jaguar car.


A fair number of attendees also choose to extend their morning by going to brunch, about three blocks away, at The Blue Iguana, who is offering APOJ attendees a 15% discount on brunch food.


Please let your Jaguar friends know about this event. It's fun, and it's low-key. (Like a friend once said, it's like a car show, but without standing around all day long!)

Could someone please bring a laptop. I will have a USB flash drive with all the pics and whatnot on it, but my laptop just recently died and I don't have a second one just laying around. I will be there. The question is what I end up driving back home. THinking a stop by Rosenthal might be in the works. If someone wants copies of the pics, bring your own thumb drive. You can have a copy of what I have.

Our informal Jaguar meet is on for Sunday, September 28th, from 8:00AM to 10:30AM. We will be in the parking lot of East Market at Fair Lakes (Kohl's and Dick's Sporting Goods).


We will spend time, talking with friends old and new, and perusing the beautiful cars.

Those who would like, may come with us to brunch at The Blue Iguana, a local Jaguar tradition. The restaurant is offering a 15% discount on food.
