Default July 14-17 Road America-Kohler International Challenge featuring Brian Redman

Anyone heading up for the vintage races at Road America? I'll be heading up for the races and also checking out the concours on the streets of Elkhart lake.

If you are heading there, let's meet up.

There is some type of E type North American Challenge race happening on Saturday.\

Friday night is the racecar concours on the streets of Elkhart Lake. Saturday night is the sportscar concours. Lots of food vendors and beer tents. Walking around, drinking beer and looking at classic cars for the win.

We generally go every year, but I had to cancel this year. My 71 XJ6 has had its paws in my pocket and time. It's always a great time. When you get hungry, check out Dutch's of Elkhart Lake, just west of town on Route J - not more than 5 minutes from the downtown shows. Best pan fried wall-eyed pike on the planet.

Thanks for the tip and hope to see you up there, perhaps next year.

Have a great time. About the time the race cars come into town, I likely will be enjoying the 90deg weather in my garage.

Just returned from the weekend and I'll post up picks of the wonderful Jag that I saw.

We also made it to Dutch's and ordered the wall-eye and it was great. Thanks again.

Glad you liked the fish. Have been going there for 15 years, through 2 owners. Never a bad meal, just gets better. In the old days, the St. Louis Jag crowd would meet there and fill a long table.
