Default Jaguars on the Green

I know this event was brought up in Vince's August Drive's post, but I didn't want to muddy up the thread (<-- he he) since it's focused now on the drive planning.

Is anybody going to Jaguar's on the Green on Aug 10? I think I may want to check that out, especially since I just learned LeMay is showing 60 years of Corvettes, including the Mako Shark, the Manta Ray and the Singray Racer. https://t.co/280vlSJbxr

I think registration closes August 6th or sometime around there.

I would consider going. I actually know the guy that started it (LeMay son), the stepfather of a former boss of mine. I could ask her about the event, she offered a special tour before.

A pleasant day, nice people, lots of Jags. It was all very laid-back and enjoyable.

Nice pics and write-up, Jay....and your Jag really did look great, going by my unbiased eye :-)

Cheers

Very nice....

I see Britania's car, and yours... Could that have been Markos old XK?
Dougs 220? (opps yes, I just read your right up... Old habits of looking at pictures only die hard, he he)

I had hoped to swing by, but I am now on "day two" of getting rid of water spots on my car.... (Damage from my road trip, where a sprinkler ran on her all morning, and then baked dry in 84 degree sunshine...Grrrr) Image 1 , Image 2, Image 3

Hope she will be as sharp looking as Muddys and Britania's XK again soon...

Thanks for posting.

A great selection of beautifully prepared vehicles.

Ouch, Vince. That's impressive. I hope those were "before" pics and not after day two!

Thanks. My wife was kind enough to point out that my pride and joy was one of the least expensive jags of the lot!
