Looking for a shop or anybody who knows how and can apply an update to the ECM of my 2001 S-type, v6, 3.0 . Im located at 90046 , I can reach 30 miles around. The update it to get rid of a once every two months P1388 code trip. As suggested by TSB S303-09.

 

Did you call a local dealer with your VIN to see if this has already been done?
If you are the original owner, you would know, if not then it MIGHT have been done.

 

I am the second owner. I have all the service paperwork and this procedure has not been done, I will contact a dealer, but I think they will not support 20+ years old cars. Will post the results here anyway. Thank you.
