Default *** FREE PROMOTION X type headlight adjuster kit WINNER ***

This is a FREE PROMOTION for one lucky member to win the following prize.

2 sets of Jaguar X type headlight adjuster repair kits, please see link below..

Jaguar x Type Headlight Adjuster Repair Parts 2 Sets | eBay

These have very kindly been donated by member Joe Cee thejagparts@yahoo.com

Please see a litte about Joe below...

"I started looking into making these parts long before I needed them myself. After reading about common problems with the S-type and seeing a lot of stories about headlight repair. I thought the parts available were overpriced ($80 at that time)
so I set out to make my own. I have sold 100s now and have a 100% positive feedback. My ultimate goal was to get a reasonably priced product out there and to that end I was successful.....

I currently own a 2000 S-Type. That is where I got my first set of models for my parts. I replaced my halogen lights with xenon lights but foolishly did not make xenon adjuster models, so I only have the S-Type halogen adjusters for sale. I decided to get the X-Type lights and make those also. I bought a set of X-Type headlights on Ebay and now sell both (excluding the S-Type xenon )

Very nice! This something I could use. I repaired one of mine but I don't think it will hold up very long. Seems like there isn't any kind of epoxy or glue that will stick to the old part. Besides mine are so brittle that I am sure they will break somewhere else.

I'm all in. My driver's side adjusters were broken. Repaired them 2 months ago but had a low beam bulb go out on me 2 weeks ago and broke the adjusters again when I replaced the bulb.

I have the auto adjusted lights. I changed the front parking light and notice the assembly inside seemed to be moving around freely. Is this mean that its broken?

I'd like to enter, just became owner of a 2001 xj8 and just noticed a suspicious piece of, dare I say, duct tape behind one headlight assembly.

So sorry Whitey - X type owners only I'm afraid
