Paul, Advanced Auto (aka Checkers, aka Kragens, aka Schucks) has the parts that you need. From my experience, they tend to be one of the cheaper places to get quality parts.
Front pads: 70-80 (Raybestos)
Rear pads: 81 (raybestos)
Front rotors: 95 each
Rear rotors: 64 each
With this being said, as long as you are not getting any pulsing in the brake pedal or shaking of the steering wheel (while braking), then your rotors are not warped most likely. Then all you need to make sure of is the rotors meet minimum thickness (stamped into the rotor either on the hub or on the outer lip). That would save you a bunch in the way of cost when it comes to rotors. If you have a slight shimmy, then you can normally take the rotors to a machine shop and they will turn the rotors for you for like 10 each. They will measure the rotors and tell you how much metal you have left too.

Hi thermo, yes i'll try them, thanks. there is pa.partsand accessories.com also are quite good and free shipping. I'm not getting any shake or noise at all but how long are the rotors supposed to last anyway?, at 61k mi they should be ready soon, and since i'm going to keep hold of the **** i may as well do it right don't you think?. I hear those drilled and groved rotors are noisy tho, and pricey. i'm going to get regular ones. your wheels look the same as mine.

All I can advise is, Don't scrimp on brakes..if you do, you'll end up going to another set until you're satisfied..
After much research..I settled on this excellent combination;
Akebono Euro pads (front and rear)..virtually dust free and stops quietly and positively with out any fade.
Tire Rack
EBC Sport Rotors (front and rear)..Excellent workmanship, wear tremendously well and braking action is superb

Paul, the length of time you get out of the rotors is mainly controlled by the amount of turning you do to the rotors. So, as long as you don't warp the rotors and need to have them turned a lot, they will last almost forever. For example, on my Expedition (much heavier vehicle than the X-type), I am still on the stock rotors after 130K miles and I can easily get another 70K miles (probably another 130K) out of the rotors. So, the life of the rotor is capable of being very long. That is why I was telling you to measure the rotors and if you had any shimy.
The other major consideration for rotor life is if you have every used full metallic brake pads. They tend to eat rotors. But, from the sounds of things, you are still on the stock brake pads and those are semi-metallics which will provide a very long rotor life.
