The last thing I need to fix are the headlights. The connectors do not mate up with the housing. They were taped in. I need to replace connectors and bulbs. Should I stay w/ H1 or go to hologen? Any suggestions on a good source for connectors?

 

H1's are Halogen bulbs. You can get repalcement female ceramic (High temp) H1 connectors on EBay for a few bucks. The factory plastic ones melt form the heat. You will also need a female spade connector to attach the ground wire to lamp housing. (stock bulb is a 55w H1)

You other option is to get an HID kit--I think this is what you meant by an altenative to the H1 halogens. That is a bit more involved but many others have done it.
