Hi newbie here...love my baby but she is running hot hot hot. Fans continue to run at least 10 minutes after I turn off...When I let sit idle I removed cap and coolant is shooting back out reservoir . Not sure if its pump or something else. Weekend fix it amateur here. Not sure if I should try to fix..Reservoir is full can't find any leaks.

If you are getting squirting from the tank then you either have an air lock or the pump is defective.
Start the car from cold with the cap off. If you have air then once the thermostat is open you start to see it come out. If it does not settle down then I would suggest looking at the pump.
If you do decide to open up the pump then it would be prudent to change the thermostat at the same time.
Hope this helps,

Sounds like you just have air in the system. Sometimes you just have to keep bleeding.
Let the car run up with the cap off, top up as required. Eventually the air will come out.
If your thermostat is faulty then you would see the temp rise fairly rapidly after the car is warmed up.

I removed cap and was getting hot quickly. Should there be pressure in reservoir it was bubbling out ...I read through another post water pump seems to be easy repair. Reservoir is full no leaks to see. just hate fixing the pump if that's not the issue.
