hi, my 2002 x type 2.1 auto has a strange speedo fault , it under reads upto 55 mph and it then just stays at 55mph with the needle slighly fluctuating.

ther are no warning lights or codes to point me the rite way, any advice?

Hi Craig,

Have you had any battery problems? As I have said previously to others I have learned that the battery can cause all kinds of strange problems. Even if you haven't had any trouble with your battery try disconnecting it leaving it off for few minutes then reconnect its liken to rebooting your computer. Might help?

 

Cheers mate, i gave it a try but no avail, and now for some reason the doors have stoped working too. only the drivers door will open and i cant get the other 3 to work.
