2003 Jaguar X-Type brakes locking up
Hello, I have a 2003 Jaguar x type. I have replaced the brake booster twice, placed a new master cylinder, and ABU unit. My brakes are still locking up when driving. Could you help on this?

Cwhite71, yes it should. What you have is the brake booster is not able to relieve the pressure and it is building up, causing the brakes to engage and give you that hard pedal feeling. Once you get it properly adjusted, the pressure can relieve and all will be good.
dont buy another booster again its a simple adjustment 15min job without taking any hoses of ...just unbolt the master cylinder whatch not to drop the nut on the right ,pull back the booster out the way , have friend push the brake pedal all the way in now you can see the rod ...now get a needle nose pliers and hold the shaft ,then put a 7mm socket on the end and turn it in about 3-4 turns clockwise in ...and voila your done ...
