Hi Guys,


The window switch for the driver side window (main switch panel) is flopping around and not working.


Does the main switch pannel just pop up or must I remove the door panel to get it out?

IIRC, you must remove the door panel.

I removed the door panel when I needed to access mine.

On mine, it's a hassle since a previous owner broke most of the plastic door retainers (and added some discreet screws).

Just to make you feel better...the PO's body shop glued my door panel on.

I bet screws look good now : )

Door panels? Your cars came with door panels? I thought those were an optional upgrade!

 

Has anyone found a suitable epoxy/hot glue for the panels to fix those broken plastic tabs?

I think it is PP.

I'd like to try and fix mine one day, but don't want them breaking the next time I need to open up the door...

 

just a thought. how about making some metal clips and screwing and apoxy them on
