Smity: If you haven't tested your starter YET yourself BE AWARE if you FREE SPIN a starter with no load(engine) be aware that at high RPM the commutator(the think that spins) will literally explode, there not meant to free spin without a load.I don't know your level of expertise,If a shop tests it they have a load machine.You still can test it on the bench ONLY use very short bursts just to see if it works.
