I have a 2003 jag x-type in great shape with low miles (approx. 18k), recently I have noticed a rattle in what appears to be the left front when the ac button is lit. The ac works fine as does the heat when the ac light is on. My concern is that a major problem is looming and I would like to fix it before it gets $. If anyone has any idea as to what to look for I would be most appreciative. Thanks again. R

 

It really seems as if it is the left front. But I have been fooled before. Either way, what would cause a rattle while the ac comp is on? Shouloud I be concerned, as I said before, everything works great. Thank you for your reply

 

I have a few minutes today at lunch so I'll check under to hood to see if I can locate the exact spot. Thanks for your input. Randy
