Default 2004 X-Type Window Pillar Cloth trim

For some reason the cloth on the pillar trip has decided to separate & flaps as I drive. I noticed some people have opted to spray fabric paint repair. I contacted another member who suggested I try upholstery spray adhesive. That is what I am going to do.

The plastic trim piece was easy to snap out. I noticed I also have a problem in the rear. I noticed the rear pillar cover says Air Bag. I'm not sure if this cover comes off as easy as the front & figured I'd ask you guys.

Thanks

The 3M Adhesive did the trick and the pillar covers look brand new. Hopefully my headliner will not suffer the same plight.

Default X-Type Rear Window Pillar Cloth

Unlike only clips for the front window cloth pillar trim, there is a 10 mm bolt securing the rear. I removed the bolt & the trim piece came out. So now all my window pillars no longer are flapping after using 3M Upholstery Headliner Adhesive. Spray it, wait 5 minutes and carefully press the cloth down. Bada bing, bada bang.

Mine were coming off and dirty too (from the previous owner), I took the pillars off, completely removed the cloth and went to a textile shop and bought the same color. Cut the exact shape and pattern and then used 3M adhesive spray. The pillars look like new now.

Thanks
