Abs & dsc code........help
I was driving my cat the other day and my ABS & DSC lights came on. I pulled over to check the break fluid and the the cap to the break fluid reservoir had loosened and came off. I filled it to the proper level ask it was a little low and replaced the cap with a new one and the ABS & DSC light still come on and goes back off periodically. There seems to be no real rhyme or reason as to when or why it is still coming on, the breaks don't feel spongey or different either. HELP PLEASE......I cannot afford to take it to Jaguar at this present time........

It would help if you could get a code from the OBD. Could be several things: dirty wheel sensor, sensor going bad, bad connection in the sensor wire, ABS computer going bad or a bad wheel bearing.
I would check wheel sensors, and connections on the wire lead that connects to the wheel sensors on the front. If you have a code reader try to get a code.
I had an intermittent light and I had to have my ABS computer repaired.

Steve: The thread below contains a trick by Thermo to display error codes thru your instrument panel.

Also, most major auto parts stores will check your error codes as a free service.
