Default ac clutch bypass

2002 xtype 3.0l

Changed dryer, o tube, compressor, and flushed.

Held a vacuum ok, so i started to charge.

Can't find the pressure switch to bypass so the clutch with engage.
There is a switch on the high side, to turn the fans on high.

The switch may be on top of the compressor but I can't find anything else.

Thanks Andy

Open fuse/relay box under hood, remove the compressor clutch relay, install jumper between pins 3 and 5 and that will cause the clutch to be engaged at all times.

I pulled r6 out and looked at it. Scratched my head. Came in here and posted.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

no joy,

jumped 3 to 5. that's what is printed on the side of the relay also. 3 and 5 are the long ones right?

poked a volt meter into the red wire to clutch and grounded black to the case and no volts.

The rebuild shop put the plug forward on the compressor not on the top. the only thing I can think is to pull it and see if the wires to the plug are in good shape.

they were working fine when I puled the compressor the first time.

Any more thoughts?

IT's THE FUSE

Compressor was running when I pilled it. So, it's the last place I looked. Must have shorted it out. But I don't know how.

Thanks Guys

Andy, if you pulled the relay under load, you current spiked the circuit as you pulled the relay. Not a big deal. Just not the best way to do things. Atleast things are working now.
