Default AC Compressor does not start?

A few months ago the car was transported to an island far far away and spent about 45 days away on transport. When I went to pick it up the AC wasn't blowing cold air at all and the compressor wouldnt kick on either. The battery had also died, didn't think much about it since a few hours later before I even got to put in a complaint order to the company it started working just fine. Today, I disconnected the stereo and AC unit and when I put them back on same exact thing happenned right away. AC wont blow cold and compressor wont kick in, pressing the AC button does nothing but to shut the light on and off.. Also the outside temperature reader is stuck on -40F if I remember correctly, being stuck since the moment I disconnected the unit. Worked perfect before.

I'm wondering the cause of this. It obviously is current related from the moment the battery dies on the trip to me disconnecting the AC unit off.

I will appreciate if anyone can shed some light..

If the outside air temp sensor tells the ACCM that it is -40 outside, then why would the A/C compressor be needed?????? You should just open a window or turn the vent on for outside air!!!!

I think if you sort out the ambient temp sensor fault, the compressor will return to working order.

Just a guess.
