After battery disconnection
I recently had my batter of to have a look at my starter motor and have done all the necessary resets windows/program key fob/radio code ect ,
I was reading in the owners manual that I could notice a few differences in the car for up to 10mile/16km and hay presto my brake peddle is very firm with very little play could this be one such after effect ,
Any advice would be appreciated

The number of things affected by a disconnect are supposed to be limited to:
1. audio unit keycode and preset frequencies
2. clock
3. windows one-touch and anti-trap facilities
4. ECM stored idle and drive values (adaptions)
If the vehicle battery is disconnected, all adaptions held within the ECM will be lost (ie, set to Zero) The ECM is then referred to as 'green'. To enable the vehicle to function correctly, the ECM must 'relearn' these adaptions.
There is no mention of the braking system or any equivalent stored settings.

Thanks Graham
I have found the problem , when I was removing the rear bolt from the starter motor I have snapped a 'T' pice on a pipe which is some how connected to the braking system ,I hope it's an easy fix I can do myself
I have posted a photo to see if I can get any advice on the issue
