Oh come on guys - don't you think you're being a little harsh on this car?
For parts alone, it must be worth at least $1000. And then there's the scrap value of all of that extra sheet metal and framing. You're up to $1100 right there!
But the real kicker is this: you don't know what's in the trunk! Take it from a guy from New Jersey: there's undoubtedly something "special" in the trunk of this thing that's justifying the bids, and it will probably go much higher than this. Once the word gets out, it could easily command factory-original DeLorean prices.
