belt tensioner 2.0 diesel x-type
Hi,
I am about to replace the accessory belt tensioner on my 2004 2.0 diesel x-type. I have the part but my JTIS workshop manual does not mention the method of fitting. In face it shows a completely different part! I am sure it isn't just a case of bolting it on and away we go because it is an articulated device which should move during operation to take up the slack and variations when affected by air-con and the like.
Does anyone know the set up procedure for this please?
Thanks
Tony

I hate to burst your bubble, but this is mostly the North American forum so we haven't even been exposed to any engine running on anything but gas (i mean petrol .) My point is that you will probably not be able to find any information on this particular forum, but there is a european forum which you will probably have better luck with. Hope that helps!
