So i know that it has been done in a post awhile ago, but I was looking at it and thought it would be really easy just to snap a couple shots while im changing it. If anyone wants this or think it would be good just let me know. I don't want to waste my time if the other write up is sufficient.

 

Some good shots and advice would be great. I recently did this but had my guy in a shop do it since he had a nice lift and we could check the transfer case while we had it up there.

We got out about 5 quarts of the old fluid and put in about 5 new of the Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF until the fluid started to drip from the check valve (after transmission warmed up).

Tranmission is smooth as butter now but I'd still like to see a definitive way to get all 8-9 quarts out. This was a big unknown to me until we did it, so I'm sure many others would love to see some pics.

I apologize for everyone getting their hopes up about the automatic transmission, because as the title states it will be a write up of the manual transmission. I would be glad to try the auto tranny, but my car is a manual so I really can't show that too well

Ha! I read that as a manual on changing the tranny fluid and assumed automatic. Funny stuff.
