hey guys, i have a2005 jag x type, amd this days i make a mistake. I push the option from submeniu-..s/w-update software,,, and ofcourse, i don,t have a dvd software
and my display it is black, i have error 50 and 51 under lcd. And a a/c it is block on heat at maximum.

Robert, because of what you have done (ie, attempted to reprogram the radio, there is not much that we will be able to do for you. You are going to be either stuck getting a new radio or taking the car to Jaguar and have them reload the program back into the radio. I don't see any other option than these 2.

If you do get a new radio, make sure that it is the same as what you currently have. If you don't have NAV and think that you can simply upgrade to NAV, you will have a long road ahead of you. They are not interchangeable without a lot of work. So, know what options your radio has and find one with the same things.

 

Just do a search on here for blank screen (50-51 code). The last postings after 150,000+ posts constantly asking the same question, is the definitive answer on the fix. The thread has now been locked so no one will keep asking the same question of WHAT DO I DO?
