Hi, I find the same problem I need the fil to re-screen the screen of my jaguar x type you could send to my email both the fil and the procedure for burning dvore rosarioacarrera72@gmail.com.

PM me your email address. I will send you a file. You need to burn it to DVD-R loose then start car, remove map dvd and insert the one you burned. Screen should say updating. If it doesnt, just let it run for 1o minutes, then cycle ignition. I hope it works. If not you likely need DVD reader.

I still don't have it working. I've burned the LOADING.KWI onto 3 different disks, 2 dual-density each burned at a different speed, and one regular DVD. It just spins up for a few seconds and makes a couple of clicking sounds, then the disk just stops. Not sure if it doesn't know how to read the KWI file or if the DVD unit is just bad. My options are to either buy a 2011-2012 updated map disk which incorporates the KWI file, and/or buy another DVD unit. It's a bunch of money either way. I can pull the test screen up on the touchscreen unit, so I know that's not the problem.

I have a few questions:
1. will this work with an 02 x type
2. does this have to be burned to a dual layer dvd. I just dragged and dropped on a sinlge layer disk. but did not work.

Just to update, I eventually broke down and got a used DVD nav unit off of ebay, took out the old one, put this one in and just like that, all is right! Now I just need to get one of veffremovve's Bluetooth audio things to replace my CD changer in it will be like, modern.

Navigation went black error code 50 51
Does anybody have that file to put into the DVD system so that way I can get mine running to mine went black then error code came up as EXT 5051 so if anybody can help me and send me that file I would appreciate it very much my email is chrystal.chafey@iCloud.com my phone Number is 949-813-7348 you can send it either way I would appreciate it I really need that also what do I put it on a regular disk or a dual seven days my jag is a 2000 6 S type???

Hey bro I fixed it!!!. I bought a new or used jaguar navigation DVD drive from eBay for $150. Removed the old one and put the new one and boom it came back on. My jaguar is an s type 2005 tho. So you have to look for your own year on eBay . Easy stuff man
