To make a long story short i broke the gas cap off of my 02 x type set it on the trunk drove off and now i dont have a gas cap anymore any ideas of where i could get one. I was looking for OEM replacements online and couldnt find anything. Even just a chrome locking cap would work but cant find one for a jag anywhere...

JafFan, keep an eye out for a transfer case next time you are checking the side of the road in your area. :>)

...bit like the time we had repaired a customers van and I delivered it back...on the way stopped at a garage to put a gallon of diesel in and placed the fuel cap on the roof while adding the fuel.Paid, drove off got a mile or two down the road and realised!!
Went back to ask if a cap had been handed in and it hadnt.
Couldnt find it around the gagrage forecourt and drove 200 yds down the road and saw it lying at the side of the road.
Picked it up and it was undamaged....phew

Do you need the whole fuel door or just the cap?
