Default Car Door sensor problem!!

Hey guys,
Its been awhile I have been a lurker!! (sorry)

Anyway I get in my car today late for a Dr appt and I notice my door ajar light stays on for the entire ride.. (I checked everything is fine all four doors close fine locks/unlocks windows work etc...) What could it be???

I would say open the trunk and slam it down hard. See if light goes out. X-Type door ajar light 99% of time cause by the trunk latch.

the hood spring switch relies on a pad that goes on the hood (driver side).. size of a quarter (black).. they can fall off and not compress the spring switch.. and give you the door ajar..

dont forget to check bonnet lol or hood switch as well

Did you replace trunk latch or slam the trunk closed?
