Car hit twice in 1 week!!!
Came out of the PO last night, went back to my car parked legally on the main road and noticed drivers mirror pointing upwards and the mirror cap missing.Had only been in the PO 30 seconds
Reversed car and saw mirror cover on road so picked it up it looked OKso refitted it.It must have gone over the bonnet and onto the road infront of the car by whichever **** hit it.
Couldnt see any damage but it was dark.
Then, last week I was in a queue leaving a retail park, it was raining and the windows were demisting I felt the car move to the right and back again while I was stationary.
Jumped out and some ******* **** in a big 4x4 had reversed (slowly) from his parking space without even looking even though the queue had been there for ages and was hardly moving. He had hit the n/s/r quarter panel nearest my 12 month old.Luckily (for him) no damage and no one hurt.
What is it with some people...just hope the driver of the car that hot my wing mirror has damaged his/hers more than mine.
Then yesterday had a call at work to find out our 12 month old has severe conjunctivitis and a chest infection and has to go back to see the doctor in the morning as he is concerned if the medication doesnt clear her eyes up overnight.
Daughter still poorly today but laughs and plays OK except when its time for her eye drops!
Following on from the damage to the wing mirror yesterday, saw the car today in daylight and there is damage to the o/s/r quarter and a chip off the back edge of the o/s/r door.
Im so ****** *** that for the 1st time in 3 years I didnt even go to the local Jag club tonight.
It looks as though it may have been a van from the position of the line of damage which is black plastic (like from the back of a black unpainted plastic wing mirror cover) along the quarter. On the arch of the bumper their is light grey paint also from the other vehicle.
I just hope they come to our bodyshop for a quote to put it right!!!!
I called back to the PO after work but they have no cameras but are allowing me in future to park on their forecourt...which is nice!
I am still waiting for the cost from our bodyshop boss so got him a Xmas card to put him in a better mood for when he delivers the mates rates cost.
Probably be a claim on my insurance to avoid cutting corners when paying myself and get the job done right as I have max protected NCB.
Still will have a £250 excess to pay though!
Right, off now to borrow the neighbours cat to kick.[sm=violin.gif]

Sorry on both fronts...we know you've put a lot of work into individualizing your X. What's with some people? Just don't care I guess.
Your wee one should be okay soon. Just make sure to keep everything as clean as possible.
Here's hoping you have as good a Holiday as you can, despite the troubles.

RE: Car hit twice in 1 week!!!
Had a great day today so far......
Good news re: my daughter...she has responded very well to the eye drops medication and with it being Xmas have a lot of differnt foods to hide the antiobiotic liquid chest infection medication in as she doesnt like the taste.
I will post some pics of the car...my £250 excess turns out to be £300 (£150 compulsory and £150 voluntary) so will be taking it to one or two people I know in the repair tradeto try to sort as good as new at a good price.

Good news on the wee one Buck...hope they all had a great Xmas.
Re the £300 excess......If I know you and going from many of your previous posts, you'll no doubt get good quality 2nd hand parts, do a lot of it yourself, and or know someone who knows someone which'll mean that it;ll cost you about £35
Anyway....good luck mate
