Default car sort of bucks!!!!

Just curious if anyone has had this happen. My car is an 2002 3.0 with 90k miles. In the last few weeks it has started to buck when I let off the gas. It probably bucks 2 or 3 times and then drives fine. It only seems to happen when I let off the gas. My first thought was a bad mount or TPS.I guess it could be a bad fuel filter any thoughts?

mine does this too, but only when im at low revs and completely let off the gas. I've had this issue for a couple years now, i just ease off the gas to avoid it.

I think its a slack in the drivetrain that causes this, not sure how serious it is.

Have you checked the drive train fluids? Might be one of them is low and you're getting a binding in the TC or tranny or rear end.

so do you mean the tranny fluid, rear dif,and transfer case levels? I had a new tranny installed early in the year and had the transfer case as well as the rear dif done last year but it was at a qucik stop oil place. I should probably check it. I sort of trust the tranny level because I had a jag sealer install the tranny for me.

ditto. I noticed it after I purchased the car when I totally let off the gas at certain RPMs. Thought I was in trouble but its been a year and I've adapted. Still going strong.

I had a similar problem, it was caused by a worn throttle position sensor.
