I'm the one that asked you about your rims on there. Remember?

I wish there were more people on this forum and more people that would talk on here. On my cbrforum.com for crotch rockets or rather anything honda motorcycle wise there are tons and tons of people on there willing to give information about anything. On that site you are guaranteed to get an answer for any question you have.

yeah, i agree we need more people here...not too many car freaks who want to tweak their jags here...mostly older crowd with no mechanical skills who post one problem/question than leave....

No I quoted nineball. He has a cardomain page and I was talking to him. You should definetely put one up on cardomain, its free! If you need any help with making it let me know. Yeah it sucks how any of the rims you really want wont fit these dang cars. I had a set of alba blaize on my 97 monte carlo which is on cardomain. I sold the wheels to a friend who had a buick and than totaled that one. He than bought a new buick century put the rims on that and than found some wheels for the winter which are a pair of saleen 18's and they fit his freakin' BUICK! I hate it because ford wheels fit on these gm cars and vice versa and nothing fits these jags. Now my friend wants to sell these wheels to me and they don't fit but man would they look awesome on the jag. Here's a link to the monte carlo..... http://www.cardomain.com/id/quil1 or http://www.cardomain.com/ride/598710. Let me know what you think of them man. Oh yeah they have a set of mille miglia 19's on tirerack.com that I REALLY REALLY REALLY want but the tires cost more than the dang rims! LOL Rim is $189 tire $200. I have found some decent tires for a little less though!

ahhh ok. i replied on yor guestbook about them. they are Cruiser Alloy wheels, and the model is called Chyllin. ya, it's a stupid name for such a nice rim, but i looked for a few weeks before i found the set i wanted.

and there are tons of wheels available for X's, you just have to do some searching. try these:

http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/

http://www.custom-wheels-car-rims.com/

http://www.tirerack.com/

personally, i got mine from http://www.wheelguyz.com/ but was not totally satisfied with my purchase. they had to send me 3 sets of lugs before i got the right one, and they did not carry the tires i wanted (pzero nero) so i had to order them from another site. funny part was they said they could get the tires for me, but they would run me $229 each. i ordered them from tirerack.com for $139. on the plus side, the reason i did order from them was the 2 year gaurentee on the chrome finish they offered - most places only offer a 1 year, and it is thru the manufacturer only. these guys said they would handle all claims for 2 years.

Yeah there are alot of nice rims but I don't want to shell out that much money! I would have rather bought a warranty for the car than rims that are only going to cause more problems. I will probably end up getting the pair of mille miglia evs on tirerack.com. I've been looking at them for some time now so well see what happens. I like them because they look like something that would come stock on the car!
