Hi,

I need some help with my cd changer.
I have a six disc jaguar cd changer and for some reason it is not working.
I took it to circuit city and the guy said that the cd changer wasn't loading
and reading the discs. Has this happened to anyone before?

Also, since I have the premium sound package made by alpine could I replace
the OEM jaguar cd changer with an aftermarket alpine cd hanger? And if so does
anyone know a compatible alpine?

Any suggestions would help!

same thing happened to me
got someone to check it out
and the slot was broken
needed to be replaced
i bought a 10 disc cd changer instead

 

What cd changer did you replace it with?

everything had to be rewired
cuz the control system is diffrent

 

the jag system is different from other makes as it uses a fibre optic cable to connect the cd-headunit-speedo-nav(if you have one)-voice control(if you have it).If one og the links is broken the whole D2B system will go (0)(0)'s up.
