Coil springs - saloon vs. estate, FWD vs. 4x4
Hello Guys,
I'm looking to buy lowering springs for my X-Type Estate. Sounds easy. However various companies and sellers sell springs that are designed only for front wheel drive versions, some only for saloons, some only for estates and some for 4x4's. They all look the same on pictures, but I know some manufacturers fit harder springs to estate cars to increase the load capacity. I'm really confused on what should I go for. I know this forum is really good and people here know a lot about Jaguars, could anyone clarify this for me please?
Many thanks,
Chris.

it is a marvelous thing, but none of these threads answer my question. I have already went through all of them and it all says about drop and what the ride is, but nothing about coil springs types etc.
