The XFR isn't sleeper enough for you? lol

Jag drivers are stereotyped as being older and not as performance minded as other drivers. So any jag sedan for the most part is a sleeper. lol

lol, that surprises me, you've never heard the term before lol.
the british call them a q-car.

is a car that has high performance and an unassuming exterior. Sleeper cars are termed such because their exterior looks little or no different from a standard or economy-class car. In some cases the car appears worse due to seeming neglect on the owner's part, typically referred to as "all go and no show". While appearing to be a standard or neglected car, internally they are modified to perform at higher performance levels. The American nomenclature comes from the term sleeper agent, while the British term derives from the Q-ships used by the Royal Navy.

A few good examples are rusted out sationwagaons packing a 1000hp plus engine, lol, and the guagues are hidden.

So as a bmw m5 pulls up to a compltely rusted POS stationwagon fromt eh 90's, you might thenink your gonna win, until hes a kilometter on front of you, with the smell of burning rbber and trying to figure out WTF just happened.

a great example

the sleep in this case is a common car here, an a POS

another one

this smart car is one mean effing machine

Never heard of a q-car either...never knew that was a British term??
We have Q plate cars, which are like kit cars.
Sound like cool cars though, a bit of "a wolf in sheeps clothing"

It would probably be cheaper to just buy a used XFR since those things are tanking in value.

It would take a lot of money to get a LS7 in any car. And then remember if you upgrade the motor, you have to upgrade the tranny, the brakes, the suspension, etc. And then keeping it running is another problem. It is not cheap.

yea lol, but the other thening is, the motors are usally the biggest thing the person focuses on, the motor and tranny are key, and then brakes. But suspension? i guess you do need it lol.

There are some cheap stock ones out there lol
like the maraders

A Supra or RX7 is definitely not a sleeper. Any car guy will know what they are and what they are capable of.

Or just buy a CTS-V and debadge it...

It costs too much to upgrade a regular CTS. And then it won't be reliable.

If you have deep pockets, then sure you can do anything you want. But I'd much rather go out and pickup a 911 instead of wasting my money building an uglier, unreliable, fast car. But I have no interest in building sleepers.

My idea of a sleeper is a M5/CTS-V/XFR. I would just buy that. 99% of the public will think its just a regular luxury sedan even with the special badges all over the car.
