Hey guys, I've been working with a Chinese manufacturer to get a cable made that will work especially well with the ACM.

This is basically a longer version of Apple's .2 m (8 inch) Lighting to 30-pin adapter. The custom cable is about 1 m long and black so it won't stick out in our cars.

If anyone is interested, let me know. The usual minimum order size is a lot of 1,000 but I convinced them to let me have 50 so I can test the waters. However, this means the cost per unit is significantly higher than at a 1,000 unit order. Because I like you guys, I can sell you them for $10 a piece, but I'll post them on eBay for $15.

I'd like to get an idea of the level of interest before I commit so I can at least make the money back that I spend on ordering them.

I'm hoping I can get some more interest before then because as of now I'll have 48 to sell lol.

I tried to get them to send me a demo unit but they want to charge me $80 for it so I said forget it. I will do some audit testing when I get them and make sure they work before selling any.

 

You shouldn't have a problem selling through eBay.

 

Hopefully not, I see that there's nothing like this for sale on eBay currently but I'm hoping that there are others who see the usefulness of something like this and want one too.

Sorry, I was never able to get enough interest to place an order.

I did end up buying a dockboss air, which works quite well. Basically it plugs into the 30 pin connector cable portion of the acm and sets up a Bluetooth connection. I posted about my success with that device on this forum as well.
