Default Custom rear lights (updated pics)

Just got my pics from my old phone. A few people asked for pics of the work that went into it so I've got them for anyone who wants to see them.

Pic 1: All masked up and ready to spray.
Pic 2: Finally sprayed.
Pic 3: On the car but not laquered or polished yet.

I'd like to see the rear of that beast outside during the day. Can you oblige?

Can do.

Pic 1: Standard rear end.
Pic 2: Modified rear end.
Pic 3: Extra rear/side pic (see the lights better).

Has anyone else attempted anything like this before? I was just going to spray the entire light cluster but I knew the police would give me hassle. My bro persuaded me to do it like they are (I just thought about how much work it would be!) and I'm glad I listened. Looks pretty good for costing £20ish to do.

17, those look great. I was thinking of doing something similar just for a different look than those big stock units. I've had a boo at the conversion tailights, even had them shipped to me, but this seems like a great alternative. Thanks for doing it and sharing.

They look great. That is exactly what I've been planning to do, just haven't got to it yet. I got the idea shortly after buying the Jag and pricing the commercial taillight upgrades. I decided then that what you've done is a lot less expensive and would look just as good.

Thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the compliments! If anyone fancies trying it you WILL be happy with the results! Just make sure you take your time with the masking and it will be sweeet!
