In case anyone is still trying... I installed successfully with minimal issues on a win 10 machine.

One trick was in order to register the dll - even if you are an administrator on your account, you MUST (as is clearly stated) run the cmd prompt by "run as Administrator"... not good enough to just run using an admin account.

Question: is 2004.25 the latest version available for the X Type? I can't find any reference to the 2.2 diesel varient in the docs.
