Bo,

JTIS says to measure and record the preload torque of the existing pinion and seal using an inch-lb torque wrench. If this preload is lower than the specification (15 in-lb) for used bearings, tighten the companion flange nut until the preload is 15 in-lbs. If the original preload measurement was more than 15 in-lb, tighten the nut to the original reading as recorded.

So you were able to find replacement bearings for the output pinion shaft?
