I'm still going to try it. If the holes are small enough, I will fill them and have it airbrushed. How big are the holes Jeremy?

I would guess 4-5mm in diameter. It's just a little guide pin to ensure alignment of the rub strips.

The guide pins and the indention where the guards are removed does not look satisfactory
onto the next.....

Could you clarify what you mean by indentation ?

There's more than just the holes? The body work indents around it?

I'm assuming to do this right you'd have to be properly repainting and filling in the holes before hand?

If you stand behind your car, looking down the side, you can see that the door skins are "scalloped" i.e. long sweeping curves, but the center section where the trims are is slightly raised & flat. The shape of the door skin is interupted where the trim is. So when you take off the trim, you can clearly see where it was. Oh, and the holes!
