I want to equip my X-Type with front 'honeycomb' grilles.

The lower one no problem: bought from the local Jaguar dealership.

For the upper one I searched the net and bought on

Looking through the spare parts catalogues for the X400, I noticed that there is also the code 'C2S43210'.

At this point I have the doubt that I have the wrong spare part or that it is not complete!

Can you help me understand?

glm, various parts get multiple part numbers because some little thing has changed about them. The overall fit will probably be the same, but say they added a new emblem to the grille, it would therefore warrant a new part number. Get the part and then see what you have. You should be good.

But, original, did the rear lip spoiler and front skirt also exist?

 

I believe both of those parts are aftermarket items. They were never part of a stock X-Type.

 

I used an aftermarket Mina mesh on mine with a Jaguar Badge.

 

No, they are originals: they wouldn't sell them at the dealership with the Jaguar branding
