tnyeddy: There are 3 motors under the front seats for up/down, forward/back, and recline. If 2 motors work and 1 motor does not, chances are a nylon gear is stripped - a familiar issue for our aging X-Types. Below is a how-to video to remove the seat and the troublesome motor. On eBay you can buy either a used motor and gear, or just a new gear.
