Morning...when i removed my battery box a few weeks back, i had to disconnect an electrical connector on the back of the battery box.

The connector appears to go nowhere and looks like it is blanked off.

anyone have any idea what this connector is for

 

This has been discussed in great detail in previous threads, including a post of the Dealer PDI bulletin on how to remove the battery saver device.

 

so i assume its some kind of battery saver???...i just searched for battery saver but got no results. What do you suggest i search for to find out what it is?....or you could just tell me.
Just about every new thread on every forum has been discussed 100 times before...no new news there

 

It's used to protect the battery prior to first delivery.

 

It's called a 'battery isolation device' and I posted several times on various forum models.
