Ok, I have examined all of the engine removal threads, engine rebuilds and the like. I need to remove the engine in my '03 x type for replacement. It sure looks like it can be pulled from the top a lot easier than dropping from the bottom.

Here is my question: Who can tell me why it will not come out the top? If it can't, it can't. It just looks like it will. What am I missing?
